Mark Delahunty
Stephen Dargan
Stephen Dargan branched out in 2008 and began delivering programmes, initially to schoolstudents, on the workings of us as humans and the psychology of why we act as we do.From 2012 to 2023 he also delivered programmes for Mental health Charity Aware one thetopics of Depression and Cognitive behaviour therapy. Since 2013 Stephen also began studying the effects of workplace happiness on companyculture and how organizations can create workplaces where people feel good aboutthemselves.
Aoife Merrins-Gallagher
Aoife is a primary school teacher with experience in both mainstream and support positions since 2013. Her recent doctoral research, funded by the DCU-INTO150 PhD scholarship, designed, developed and delivered an English-Irish oral narrative programme for nine linguistically diverse infant classrooms (Tell-a-Tale | Inis Scéal). Aoife has lectured in DCU and MU, and frequently facilitates webinars through Education Centres. She has authored and delivered DE approved face-to-face and online EAL summer courses since 2021. Aoife is a member of the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation, Mother Tongues Ireland and Children’s Research Network. Her experiences as a teacher, lecturer and researcher can demystify the world of EAL for participants.
Briana Fitzsimons
Enda Roberts
Enda is a primary teacher with 21 years of classroom experience, currently teaching 6th class. Enda am an AP2 post holder in a large, rural primary school. Enda completed the Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership through the Centre for School Leadership. I’m a certified Google Level 1 and 2 Educator. As the STEM coordinator in his school, Enda is passionate about integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into practical and accessible learning experiences. Enda has always held an enthusiasm for both ICT and STEM, seeing firsthand the engagement and enjoyment they inspire in children.
Síobháin Tobin
Siobhán is a primary school teacher in Thomastown,County Kilkenny. She has been teaching for over 18 years. She has spent six years in Special Education and has also worked for EPT Psychology Clinic, Kilkenny supporting children with additional needs.
Dr Gráinne Mulcahy
Gráinne is a full-time teacher in a large secondary school. A Holistic Practioner for over 30 years she uses mindfulness in her daily life and class practice. Her Doctorate in Education focused on Junior Cycle with an emphasis on student learning and assessment. A Masters in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Work grounds her in a student-centred approach to teaching and learning. All her courses are underpinned by a Post Grad in Programme Design and Validation from Maynooth University. She aims to develop meaningful, practical and well-resourced CPD. Working in Further Education Gráinne appreciates that learning is a lifelong process. Developing the skills and confidence to engage with learning is crucial, and we are never too young or too old to start.
Noeleen Doyle
Noeleen Doyle is an accomplished educator and community manager with extensive experience in developing and delivering educational programs for teachers with Green Schools Ireland and Concern Worldwide’s Schools and Youth Programme including Concern Primary Debates. Currently working as Senior Programme Manager for Raspberry Pi Foundation in Ireland and former CoderDojo / Code Club Community Manager for Ireland, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from St Pats DCU and a BA in Communications, as well as being a registered primary school teacher.
Paul O Callaghan
Paul is a Deputy Principal and Special Education Teacher in Lucan CNS, a developing primary school in Co. Dublin with over 300 pupils. Paul has a B.Ed. with Music, Postgraduate Certificate in 21st Century Teaching and Learning, Postgraduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs and M.Ed. in Leadership and Management.
Annette Ormond
I am a primary teacher working in schools for the past nineteen years. I am a passionate lifelong learner and am currently completing a Masters in Educational Leadership through Waterford Institute of Technology. I have graduated with a degree in psychology from the Open University. I have completed many different courses in the area of educating students with Additional Needs and I have significant and varied experience in the area including working in SET, special class teaching and as a SENCO. I have worked with many different schools nationwide planning different aspects of the Continuum of Support with them and planning provision in their school for students with additional needs. I believe wholeheartedly in the difference we can make in the lives of people with many
additional needs through our understanding and our knowledge. I worked with the Dyslexia Association of Ireland for eight years, as a tutor on the SNA course with UCD, and as a lecturer with Hibernia College on the Inclusion and Diversity module with the PME students. I was awarded the IATSE Testimonial and Award for excellence in Support Teaching in 2017 when studying in University College Dublin and the Louise Madigan Bursary Award for research in education in 2021. I worked as a member of the ILSA Executive Committee.
